Spelbound
From the moment Spelbound first hit our screens during last year’s Britain’s Got Talent, we all knew we were watching something special.
The gymnastic troupe comprise of seven boys and six girls, with ages ranging from 12 to 24 and, prior to BGT, they had all won numerous medals in acrobatic gymnastics.
Between them, they have competed for Great Britain all over Europe, including the 2008 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships.
Add those honours to being crowned champions of Britain’s Got Talent 2010, and you quickly realise that this is no ordinary gymnastic troupe.
Since winning BGT Spelbound have, amongst an array of live performances, hit the stage at Twickenham and at the Royal Variety Performance.
They have also thrown themselves into the Guinness Book of Records, for the highest human throw and catch, performed on Blue Peter.
It’s quite clear that Spelbound are more than just ‘an overnight sensation’.
